Hey folks, as promised today I am sharing my own doodle tags - for your gift giving pleasure - love these! I just know that come December 25th - my tree will look even cuter with these stuck all over the "mound" of presents under it!
So spread the love - share these little bits of fun with your family and friends!
First, right click on the doodles and save to your desktop, then open your print program, and open a A4 sized page and import them in! EASY! note: good idea to print them off and then go get them copied onto card - printer ink tends to run a bit when water is added!!! I get officeworks to print mine onto A4 optics 220gsm white card. And I made a couple of the tags not as "Christmasy" so that you could use them for birthdays etc!
Now on to decorating....
1. Colour your doodles - I use water colour pencils - available everywhere (even the supermarket) or pull out that dusty old pack of chalks and use them! I love getting the tribe to colour them in - a project perfect for the "mad hour" when you are trying to cook tea, answer a dozen emails, watching that auction on Ebay and being inundated with "mum, how do you spell..." or "she hit me" "No she hit ME"
2. brush over the pencil work with water (I use a aqua-brush - less mess and the water is there at the ready) and allow to dry.
3. Cut out the tags and print off some photos - around 1.5 - 2 inches. Using a 1.5" circle punch - punch out some of your photos and sand around the edges with a sanding block or nail-file.
4. Using kindyglitz (or any other glitter glue in your stash) outline some of design (you've gotta love the bling)
5. Add gemstones - I think these really make the tags look special!(more bling)
6. punch a hole in the top of your tag and thread ribbon, tinsel, thread through the holes and attach to your presents!
Have fun everyone!
