Some creating and a couple of haircuts...
This week we have been busy in the Hall house (hey, this isn't new though right?!) the little chickens had haircuts on Tuesday... a first for the divine Miss M, whose hair is rather very thin - we are now in the process of trying to thicken it up and make it more healthy and strong with some special hair "stuff", and will Miss Milly "helping" in the the trimming of her own hair, I told the hairdresser to do what she needed to do to make the hair stronger and healthier - so we came out of the salon with two new little girls! Both with bobs, and looking super adorable - it is hard to get use to though - especially Amelia's as she is normally looking all wild with hair flying in the wind. They were both angels for the hairdresser and afterwards were rewarded with smarties, Milly was fine till we got home and she had a better look and there were lots of tears, but with brand new headbands and everyone commenting on how great she looks, she is okay with it now, and every morning when she gets up she rushes to the mirror and tells me that the hair has grown a little! (yes, they are dressed the same! and yes! that is the only pic I could get of the divine miss m!)
I have also spent a VERY large part of this week sitting here at the computer, burning the past two years worth of photos (over 10,000) onto DVD's and getting them off the computer, it has been a tedious process of cross referencing dance, mummy group and playgroup into not only the month files (1 disk for each month) but also their own year disk of all the photos from each activity. But I am pleased to say that we are almost done - My mum currently has the 2007 folder of disks which she will burn a copy of each one too) so that we are double back up. I have noticed a change already with my computer - I think it likes me better when I do nice things for it :)
Creating wise, I have had a big week too - asked to do some stuff for Creative Living (formally the For Keeps Mag) and one of my wonderful friends is planning something big for September and wants me involved - very excited and can't wait to share. I have been creating an online class for my friend Kell too - she is raising money for Cystic Fibrosis (sp) and a few of us are creating classes for her blog - will add link once it is up and running.
And, finally here are a couple of layouts I did last weekend - just for fun, just because I love playing with new products and getting creative in my space! tree hugger layout is using the new Love Elsie range and the cheerleader is using the new Teressa Collins journaling papers.
Live the life you want!
JEN :)
