and this is the result... We have been visiting the Jesmond Santa for over a month now - every few days the little Misses and I call past and say "HI" and he gives each of them a balloon - and last week the divine Miss M decides to shake his hand - so I get to thinking - it's TIME!
You see I totally planned this moment - weeks ago - I "Santa shopped" - I checked out all the Santa's around Newcastle - looked at how real the Santa looked - whether his suite was "just right" and even whether the background was nice - (I know I am a total suck right?? you are talking to scrapping mum here people!) anyway - I planned the moment - I hyped the big guy up to the little Misses over and over - " he's going to bring presents and toys - you get to tell him what you want" etc and we did this every time we saw him and so the other day I knew my little Moo was ready - and so they got dressed up all festive - and off we went - Moo was a little weary actually on his lap but was happy in the safe arms of her big sister - and check out Miss Milly's smile - so proud and content sitting on the jolly big fellow - so I am happy - my plan worked that I had no screaming crying kids that did not want to be there (unfortunately - Miss Milly's best friend Grace WAS one of those kids - she watched my girls get their photo and Santa gave them each a little watch - and then Milly even sat with her on Santa's lap - but before they could get a photo - the tears came and the squirming and then.. yep the high pitched wail - so my poor friend Ang will not have a Santa photo of her daughter again this year!)
and we have been doing lots of Christmas type things - card making, stamping wrapping paper, wrapping gifts - and I am so proud to say that all my shopping and wrapping is done! Santa has even finished off all the wrapping of his gifts too - with his traditional "Santa" paper - so now I can relax just a little - shopping is just for fun now - I got new jammies for the girls today as each year on Christmas eve they open one gift from up - new pajamas to wear to bed - a little tradition we started when the older Misses came to live with us.
Have been taking a stack of pictures and some really cute ones of the divine Miss M today - trying to put a Santa hat on a dolly that was smaller than the hat - but just haven't uploaded yet - but I did promise to share a photo or two my Masters prize - so here they are...
the first one is my "Colour" big big prize - all the red storage stuff and AMM album and ribbon box etc and 113 packets of Imagination Project coasters!!! 113!! love them and have been using them over the week - sweet!
that's all for now
Live it! Love it! Create it! Ho Ho Ho! JEN xoxox
Oh my God, the REAL Santa is in Australia from now... We're still waiting for him in France, please let him go now; I would like a picture as nice as yours !!! Misses are so cute...
